Asked Questions
How are strap sizes determined?
Each timepiece has unique case and lug dimensions. To ensure a perfect fit, we’ll need the reference number of your watch—this allows us to identify which straps are available as stock or must be custom ordered.
What’s the difference between a stock strap and a custom strap?
Stock straps are currently in production and match your timepiece’s case/lug dimensions and buckle style.
Custom straps are made-to-order in non-standard colors or materials not currently offered for your specific watch configuration.
Do straps come in different lengths?
Yes! Straps are available in multiple men’s and women’s sizes for both pin and deployant buckles. If you know your wrist size but are unsure of the best length, we’re happy to advise. If you don’t know your size, we can measure your wrist in-store—please schedule an appointment at your convenience.
When will I receive my strap?
Stock straps: Up to 4 weeks if available.
Note: If the strap is out of stock, delivery may take a minimum of 3 months.
Custom straps: Approximately 6 months.
All timelines are based on manufacturer availability and cannot be expedited.
Can I have my bracelet or strap sized in-store?
Yes, we offer complimentary sizing services. However, for vintage pieces, intricate bracelets, or designs featuring pearls or pavé, your piece may need to be sent to the Henri Stern Agency in New York for specialized care. We’ll advise you at your appointment.
Can I order a rubber (polymer) strap for a non-Aquanaut model?
Unfortunately, polymer straps are exclusive to Aquanaut models. Some references may allow for a composite strap alternative—please ask us for more details.
Can I have my strap changed in-store?
Yes, we’re pleased to offer complimentary strap changes. Please schedule an appointment in advance.
Can I switch from a pin buckle to a deployant buckle (or vice versa)?
Absolutely. Simply provide your reference number, and we’ll determine the correct lug size and compatibility.
Can I upgrade my older Nautilus clasp to the newer version?
Unfortunately, the updated clasp is not compatible with earlier Nautilus models and therefore cannot be retrofitted.
When will I receive my links?
Up to 4 weeks if in stock.
Note: If out of stock, delivery may take a minimum of 3 months.
Can I return or exchange my order?
All sales are final. Each strap is specially ordered and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Where will my order be delivered?
Orders are delivered directly to the boutique. Once your order arrives, we’ll contact you to coordinate pickup or next steps.
Can my order be shipped to me instead?
Yes, we’re happy to arrange domestic shipping for a flat fee of $75.
